The space shuttle would seem so familiar to those boarding it because they have seen these type of technology before,why else would the go on something they have to knowledge of?not to mention,we as humans learn to adapt to new situations and environments.So of course the passengers learned to adapt to the new idea of travel

Maybe they seen it on tv so that is how they know that it seems familiar to them and this might not be the right answer so it can be true or false
