Burlesque humor is a literary device which is used to cause laughter. This could be done in many ways: by caricaturing the serious topic or just treating the subjects ridiculously. In English, it has been used since 17th century. Early successful users of burlesque include Shakespeare, Cervantes and Chaucer.

One example of burlesque in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is Huck's attempt to rescue Jim after learning that he has been sold. The lines "All right then, I'll go to Hell to rescue Jim out of slavery" mention this event. The plan to save Jim is described in a literary manner which is known as burlesque. Tom's thoughts on escaping Jim and the humor alongside with it is a notable example.

Answer:

In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain employs a particular type of satire known as burlesque humor. The word burlesque is an Italian term that means “mockery.” It’s a term that originated in the theater, most notably in the dramatic works of Shakespeare and Chaucer In literature, burlesque refers to ridiculous exaggeration. It describes scenes in which characters are placed in exaggerated situations, providing an opportunity for the author to develop his theme through comedy. A prime example of Twain’s use of burlesque in chapters 10 and 11 is when Huck decides to dress as a girl to find out the latest news from town.

son4ous [18]

Hello, you did not include the passage to which this question refers, which makes it impossible for the question to be answered accurately.

However, I can help you by giving you guidelines on how to complete the sentence and the meaning of the word patron.

When completing a sentence, you must maintain the concept to which it was started. In addition, you must observe the verb tenses used and use verbs at the same time, allowing the sentence to be coherent, cohesive and grammatically correct. That way your sentence will make sense and will be able to form an understandable message.

The word patron is generally used to indicate someone or something, who has the ability to defend, care for, advise and defend another person, animal or object. In other words, the patron always has a heroic and caring sense.

Hyperbole is a type of figurative language involving exaggeration. Which two sets of lines in this excerpt from Andrew Marvel's
HACTEHA [7]

Hello there!

I think you are missing the excerpt, but fortunately, I have found this one, is this?

Had we but world enough and time,

This coyness, lady, were no crime.

We would sit down, and think which way

To walk, and pass our long love’s day.

Thou by the Indian Ganges’ side

Shouldst rubies find; I by the tide

Of Humber would complain. I would

Love you ten years before the flood,

And you should, if you please, refuse

Till the conversion of the Jews.

My vegetable love should grow

Vaster than empires and more slow;

An hundred years should go to praise

Thine eyes, and on thy forehead gaze;

Two hundred to adore each breast,

But thirty thousand to the rest;

An age at least to every part,

And the last age should show your heart.

For, lady, you deserve this state,

Nor would I love at lower rate.

But at my back I always hear

Time's wingèd chariot hurrying near;

And yonder all before us lie

Deserts of vast eternity.

Thy beauty shall no more be found;

Nor, in thy marble vault, shall sound

My echoing song; then worms shall try

That long-preserved virginity,

And your quaint honour turn to dust,

And into ashes all my lust;

The grave's a fine and private place,

But none, I think, do there embrace.

Examples of hyperbole are:

"[...]I would  Love you ten years before the flood, [...]"

and

[...] An hundred years should go to praise

      Thine eyes, and on thy forehead gaze; [...]

Hope this helps!

Frankenstein starts studying what was chemestry those days.He needed to know more about the functions of the tissues and the connections they had to the human body and the brain.When he goes to university he seems to be eager to learn more about sciences yet not revealed to men.He thought he was going to be able to find certain answers to questions about life and death but his professors objected to ideas which seemed unnatural for them or related to dark sciences they did not teach at such an institution.

His future destiny at university was decided when he found one of his professors with his same interest but not with his obssession. His course of scientific study will lead him to his own ruin, he cannot stop. He is too much into studying something which is a mistery to others who seek knowledge too.Krempe and Waldman are different because they did not have this hubger for knowledge, this craze for for acquiring answers about questions not yet asked in any science up to those days.
