I would say that a combination of vivid imagery and a portrayal of things as they really are would be the lessons learned by Hemingway from the paintings of the French post-impressionist Paul Cezanne. Cezanne's portrayal in warm colours of people and things makes his images very attractive.

Which story element most clearly categorizes "Exhalation" as a work of
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

B). The narrator's self-dissection experiment.

Explanation:

Science fiction exemplifies the literary genre which is inclined towards displaying imagined futuristic concepts including scientific facts, technological advances, etc. The short story 'Exhalation' by Ted Chiang is categorized into this genre as it carries the plot of a scientist's (probably narrator's) experiment of dissecting his own brain. Thus, the element that leads to the characterization of the story as a work of science fiction is 'the narrator's self-dissection experiment'. Therefore, option B is the correct answer.

Read the excerpt from Into the Unknown by Stewart Ross.
Alexxandr [17]

a map of the Ogooué River is your best answer.

As the excerpt is talking about the Move steaming ... along the coast, and it has descriptions that closely resemble that of a River, it would make A) sound like the best answer choice, as it would provide needed information on how the river looks like and the surrounding places.
