In an age of intensifying globalization, ethnographic research continues to provide deep insight and understanding of the myriad parts of our informants' everyday lives and cultures, due in large part to the continued use of participant observation. Furthermore, there are four data collection methods in anthropology.

EXPLANATION:

Four data collection methods in anthropology are:

1. Textual Analysis

Create a wide grade of documents that offer significant opportunities into their values, operation, and mechanisms. The underlying patterns and themes in documents like informational brochures, practice mission statements, and procedure manuals can be examined by using anthropological methods.

Recognize the wider framework in which the preparation, the employees, and the services delivery exist, researchers can perform a textual materials systematic review produced by the practice for its crew, its patients, and the public to recognize how participants think about the practice’s complete mission, services, and transformation objectives.

2. Participant Observation

Observation is the typical research method in anthropology. Anthropologists use numerous grades of participant observation, from full participation in constant activities to passive observation in the locations of concentration.

3. In-Depth Individual Interviews

Interviews that use open-ended questions intended to seize the empirical and mental world of the informers. Individual interviews enable participants to tell their stories, in a detailed and comprehensible manner, and uninterrupted without troubling about what their fellows may think (as in a focus group).

4. Focus Groups

A focus group is a method of the interview within a group which is useful for gaining information on moderately unstudied topics for which the full series of pertinent domains is unknown and the lively interaction amid participants is noticed. Researchers select focus groups than individual in-depth interviews when data attainment will aid from the dynamic that is generated through group discussion.

The discussion usually draws information and visions that might not be obtained from an individual interview, comprising the colloquial modes in which participants talk to each other about seeking care or working in from the practice.

Explain what type of conformity the subjects in muzafer sherif’s moving light experiment were most likely experiencing
netineya [11]

Answer:

Internalisation

Explanation:

Internalization is a type of conformity where a group of people adopt the same concept or behavior in a true way, without any, or with little influence from one member on the other, and without individuals being faking the behavior just to fit in. in the group. This type of conformity can be seen in individuals who participated in a muzafer sherif moving light experiment.

This experiment consisted of leaving some people in a completely dark room, with only a single spot of light on the wall. This point did not move, however, as people did not have any reference to the position and movement of the point, all said that the point moved, without one having said it to the other. Although people gave different responses about how this movement was made, everyone agreed that there was movement.

If a juvenile joins a gang in which he achieves his status through violence and toughness, which type of gang is he in according
kozerog [31]
According to Cloward and Ohlin's theory, there are three subcultures juveniles may enter:
Criminal subcultures
Conflict subcultures
Retreatist subcultures

Criminal subcultures gear towards organized crimes, where they commit criminal acts to climb the social ladder in the criminal world and are rewarded through financial means.

Conflict subcultures on the other hand tend to do less serious crimes, but instead use violence as a way to gain respect.

Retreatist subcultures turn to drugs and alcohol, seeing themselves as rejects.

With that, the answer would be Conflict subcultures or a conflict gang.
