ows how this motto reflects transcendentalist principles? An ideal government does not exist, so anarchy is best for a nation. Citizens require the government to define the difference between right and wrong. Government can act as an impediment to the will and morality of individual men. In his essay "Civil Disobedience," Henry David Thoreau wrote, "That government is best which governs least." Answer that best shows how this motto reflects transcendentalist principles is Government can act as an impediment to the will and morality of individual men.

Through this quote, Thoreau asserted that government should not interfere with the lives of the people. In his time the government didn't interfere as compared with today. He believes that the only purpose that we form a government is to protect our rights, liberty and other pursuits rather than interfere with the other aspects of life. He further asserts that when laws and rules are formed which are not directly linked to our security and safety, it does not form the best form of government. Thoreau was upset with the US government and because of slavery and war with Mexico. he believed that government did more to its people than good by allowing slavery.

Further, Edna marries Leonce "On accident." As she is wandering out to sea in the novel, she is in reminding of her feelings from childhood by remembering about the night of swimming.

She did not look back now, but went on and on, thinking of the blue-grass meadow that she had traversed when a little child, believing that it had no beginning and no end."

How is the word choice regarding the parents’ surname significant in sleeping
Svetach [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Winter symbolizes cold, still, fruitless time of no change, when things aren't born, renewed, or changed.

By naming the two characters, Mr. and Mrs. Winter by this season, the writer symbolizes the coldness and childlessness in their life. It seems that they lost the child, but they approached the grief from the calculated, rational point - not acknowledging the loss and emotions, and continuing to act rationally on the outside as if nothing is happening.

This can be connected to the coldness and stillness of the winter, the snow that covers all the flora and vegetation, and seems to last forever in the icy embrace.
