The correct answer is the following: President George W. Bush gave tax credits to energy companies to increase production of fossil fuels and nuclear power. In his second week in office, President George W. Bush created the National Energy Policy Development Group (NEPDG). The group had the mission of coming with a solution for the heavy dependence that the country had on oil from the unstable Middle East. The government considered that in order for the US and the rest of the world's economy to be stable in the future, the production of fossil fuels had to increase dramatically. That is why, with support of the NEPDG, the President gave tax credits to energy companies, in order to increase production of fossil fuels and nuclear power.

What best describes a woman's role in Puritan Society?
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

The correct answer is C: Respected as mothers and religious leaders

Explanation:

In a traditional Puritan household, women were known to be submissive with the men running the household and earning an income. This submissiveness mostly came from the need to be obedient and moral.

However, women had authority within the home and were responsible for running the household.

As mothers, they made key decisions and helped to build a family system. Women also had a huge role in the Church and almost every Puritan church had female religious leaders.

Different plants and crops grow in different environments.
svet-max [94.6K]

The evidence that different plants and crops grow in different environments from this text is:

 • The fact that Bananas don't grow in Ohio and the fact that during winter certain plants cannot be found too in Ohio.

According to this text, it is impossible to get Banana in Ohio. This shows that the environment does not support its growth.

Also the text says that during winter it is difficult to get melons, peaches and strawberries. What this tells us is that at different environments or weather seasons, certain plants do not grow in certain places.

If these plants are unavailable in winter, they could be available in the summer season.
