The correct answers are B) the popularization of contraception and C) the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment.

What contributed to the new freedoms women enjoyed in the1920s was the popularization of contraception and the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment.

The 1920s was an interesting period for women after World War 1. They started to think about themselves first, instead not only being the fragile image of the Mother that had to raise children and do the house chores. Women stood up for what they believe and started to express it publicly. Sociologists agree that during the 1920s, women of America started to value their own individuality and began to demand their rights. The 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution gave women the right to vote, one of the most valuable victories for women of the time.
