Some of these include job responsibility, environmental advocacy, community service and volunteerism, and workplace wellness. ERGs are groups of employees who come together in their place of work based on shared features or  experiences of life. It is also known as business network groups. Employee Resource Groups play a key role in the success of an individual, a group, and the whole organization when there are actual resources.  

The challenges posed by ERGs are lack of communication skills,  people may be afraid of talking if they do not have experience and they are not clear of the role of ERG.

An erg is an area in the desert where sand collected over time and is blown into dunes. The challenges they pose for people is that some ergs can reach over 600ft, so they can be very hard to cross.
