A computer is a machine that takes information in, is able to manipulate it in some way, and outputs new information.

The ENIAC was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and began construction in 1943 and was not completed until 1946. It occupied about 1,800 square feet and used about 18,000 vacuum tubes, weighing almost 50 tons.

Answer:

What would the world be like if the car had not been invented:

Explanation:

If the automobile had not been invented, our life would be very different. Firstly, we couldn't make big trips in a short time. We would not have a quick transport option and traveling would be a headache.

However, since automobiles did not exist, there would be no emission of 58% of greenhouse gases. There would be a radical transition to cycling that would benefit the health of the planet and ours. That would lessen the problems of air pollution, not to mention the extra calories we would spend using the bike instead of the car.

A researcher proposes that the obligate parasitic weed requires exposure to a signal from the host plant before it can germinate
Dafna11 [192]
the obligate parasite requires strigolactones for seed germination and not karrikins. The plant secrete strigolactone from its root into the soil as mentioned. In the soil, strigolactone promotes the seed germination of the parasitic weed.

The strigolactones can be beneficial for the germination and growth of the weed plant.

Would you usually expect GDP as measured by what is demanded to be greater than GDP measured by what is supplied, or the reverse
Akimi4 [234]

The correct answer is - GDP by what is supplied.

The best way to measure a GDP is by what is supplied on the market. Basically this means that the GDP should be measured by what and how much the economy is producing. The produced goods and services may be only for the country's market, or also for export, but those are the ones that bring in the money in the economy.

If the GDP was measured by what is demanded than we will have a very unrealistic picture. The reason is that the demand for numerous things can be there on the market, bu the financial power of the people may not actually correspond with it, nor the strength of the economy. A perfect example for something like this is Greece.
