Explanation: Hull fouling can be defined as the way by which the organisms attach themselves to the hull of the ship during the voyage and transport themselves to long distances.

Aquatic plants, are transported easily when the plant fragments gets attached to the boat. Sometimes the tangled plant fragments slows down the speed of the boat.

The introduction of Caulerpa, the killer algae was also introduced in this way.
