Which excerpt from "The Enigma Machine” supports the idea that Allied forces expected the Germans to complicate their coding sys

tem? The Enigma machine was invented at the end of World War I by German engineer Arthur Scherbius. He used rotors and an electrical pathway in his design. The telegram was intercepted and deciphered by British intelligence, and it caused such outrage in the US that it helped generate public support for the United States’ entry into the war. After 1938, when the Germans introduced additional rotors and plugs to increase the number of possible combinations, Polish and British cryptologists had already developed alternative methods of recovering the daily keys. The two main weaknesses of the Enigma machine were careless operators and the distribution of the daily key. The daily key was printed on paper, and it had the potential of being captured en route to the field. PLEASE HURRY

<span>After 1938, when the Germans introduced additional rotors and plugs to increase the number of possible combinations, Polish and British cryptologists had already developed alternative methods of recovering the daily keys.

This statement shows that the Allied forces expected the Germans to complicate their system because they had already created a team of cryptologists to figure out different ways to get the codes.</span>

Andrej [43]

Answer:

Ha Jin employs a<em> casual, informal language</em> in his story by<em> writing as if the reader is a person he knows.</em> This allows the reader to become part of the story he is creating. Since the tone is more "personal," the reader feels <u>the author's feelings and statements in the text</u> and gets involved in it.

Explanation:

The question above is related to the story entitled "The Bane of the Internet," written by Ha Jin<em> (a Chinese)</em>. It centers on the hardships of immigrating to another country and how tedious it is.

Writing may be done in a "formal way" or an "informal way." (I have already discussed the informal type of writing above). A formal type of writing, on the other hand, is impersonal in nature and more subjective than an informal way of writing. It is often used for <em>"academic or business purposes.</em>"

Genrish500 [490]

The answer is: syntax

Syntax is the organization of words and phrases to produce well-formed sentences in a language. In this case, the arrangement of words is incorrect mainly because in English syntax rules do not allow the definite article <em>the </em>to precede a single adjective like <em>cautious </em>or a verb, such as <em>barked</em>. Finally, adjectives must come before nouns; for example, <em>man</em>.
