Fomites are objects that can harbor diseases and can spread infection. It usually has route which is oral or direct contact. Examples can be the clothes we are wearing, utensils, etc. In the this case, letter C is the answer which is then the remote control for TV in the doctor's office waiting room since someone who is sick like having colds can then touch the remote control and pass the bacteria then to it by sneezing thus it carries the germs and another can then touch the remote control and get colds as well thus spreading the infection.
