Read this excerpt from Susan B. Anthony's "Is it a Crime for a Citizen of the United States to Vote?" and complete the sentences

that follow.
But is urged, the use of the masculine pronouns he, his and him, in all the constitutions and laws, is proof that only men were meant to be included in their provisions. If you insist on this version of the letter of the law, we shall insist that you be consistent, and accept the other horn of the dilemma, which would compel you to exempt women from taxation for the support of the government, and from penalties for the violation of laws. . . .

So long as any classes of men were denied their right to vote, the government made a show of consistency, by exempting them from taxation. When a property qualification of $250 was required of black men in New York, they were not compelled to pay taxes, so long as they were content to report themselves worth less than that sum; but the moment the black man died, and his property fell to his widow or daughter, the black woman's name would be put on the assessor's list, and she be compelled to pay taxes on the same property exempted to her husband. The same is true of ministers in New York. So long as the minister lives, he is exempted from taxation on $1,500 of property, but the moment the breath goes out of his body, his widow's name will go down on the assessor's list, and she will have to pay taxes on the $1,500. So much for the special legislation in favor of women.

Susan B. Anthony makes two compelling arguments to suggest that women should be given the right to vote. She attacks the argument of the anti-suffragists that (_____) She argues that since (_____) all women should be afforded the right to vote.

EMPTY BOX #1 CHOICES : Women are not entitled to vote because all the laws were created by men for men, Women are not entitled to the same rights as men because all the laws say they are inferior, Women are not entitled to the same rights as men because all the laws do not mention females, Women are not entitled to vote because the word "she" was removed from the statues book

EMPTY BOX #2 CHOICES: Women are exempted from paying all the taxes because females are not mentioned in tax laws, Women are forced to pay all the taxes despite there being no mention of females in tax laws, Women are not allowed to inherit property despite the mention of family members in property laws, Women are not allowed to hold and inherit property despite there being no mention of females in property laws

In at least 150 words, describe how Harte develops the theme of injustice in "Tennessee's Partner."
aliya0001 [1]
Hart emphasizes character development while presenting life in California's gold camps with realism and humor. The humor enables the author to avoid sentimentality and melodrama. His dialogue captures the colorful patois of the prospectors, and his descriptions detail their habits, idiosyncrasies, manner of dress, prejudices, and rough-hewn system of justice

Can you say that human, whale, and bat might belong to a common ancestral group?
Molodets [167]
Humans, whales and bats have one thing in common: they're all mammals. This means that they have a common ancestor that is not shared by for example fish: in this way, they can be said to have a common ancestor, the first mammal.

However, in the end, all life on earth can be trade to a common ancestor- so to some degree this can also be said about all animals.
