Answer:

Notre Dame Cathedral began construction in 1163 and ended in 1345. We are talking about almost two centuries of tireless work, entire generations who have lived in the service of this magnificent work to leave the testimony of their faith inscribed. This is what Gothic art is all about: an offering literally elevated to heaven.

The Isle of Paris City, home of the Cathedral, is a small island located in the middle of the Seine that centuries ago had been a place of Celtic and Roman worship. Even there was a temple dedicated to Jupiter.

After the Christianization of Europe, a Romanesque church known as Saint Etienne was also built, but with the cultural change that enabled the formation of cities, the interest of building a church according to the new times soon arose. This would be the gothic cathedral of Notre-Dame.

In the painting The Martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, the human figures are _____.
Vera_Pavlovna [14]
From looking at the painting, I would say the human figures are lifelike. They're definitely not rigid because the humans are in different poses. Stylized similarly means "unrealistic", which doesn't describe the human figures.
