serg [7]

A supermarket shop cans display consists of 5 levels of stacked cans. In the display, each level has 4 more cans than the level above it-the total number of cans in display are (b) 100

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that ,

The display consists of 5 levels of stacked cans- which means that there are 5 levels in which the stacked cans are displayed .

so,the no:of levels are 5

Now given that level has 4 more cans than the level above it.

so. the number of cans in a single level = 5*4=20

Now we know that the total number of level is 5 so we multiply 20 withe the number of levels of can stacked

==>20*5=100

Thus we can say that the total number of cans in display are (b) 100

Disney held a breakfast for parents and their children to eat with Mickey mouse. adult tickets cost $17.95 and children's ticket
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

The number of children attending = 324

The number of adults attending = 176.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the total number of people attending = 500

Let us assume the umber of children attending the breakfast = m

So, the number of adults attending the breakfast = 500 - m

Cost of ticket for each children = $12.95

So, the cost of m children's tickets = m x ( Cost of 1 children ticket)

=  m x ( $12.95)  = 12.95 m .... (1)

Cost of ticket for each adult = $17.95

So, the cost of (500 -m) adults's tickets

= (500 - m) x ( Cost of 1 adult ticket)    = (500 -m) x ( $17.95)

= 8,975 - 17.95 m     .... (2)

Now, the total earnings from the total ticket sold = $7355

So, The earning from ( Adult's + children's tickets)  = $7355

⇒  12.95 m  +  8,975 - 17.95 m = $7355

or, - 5 m = 7355 - 8975 =   -1620

or, m = 1620/5 = 324

⇒  m =324

Hence the number of children attending = m = 324

The number of adults attending = 500 - m = 500 - 324 = 176.

The figure below shows a line graph and two shaded triangles that are similar:Which statement about the slope of the line is tru
zzz [600]
Here is something to keep in mind.
when there is a downward slope, the slope will ALWAYS have a negative slope. even if it is above the x-axis. negative slopes will tend to go from positive y-axis to negative y-axis
so personally would have to go with -4
because the x-axis is by 4 each time. and this slope is going downward.

your answer will be D

The average blood alcohol concentration (bac) of eight male subjects was measured after consumption of 15 ml of ethanol (corresp
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

After 5 minutes, the BAC was increasing at the rate of 0.0137 mg/mL a minute.

Step-by-step explanation:

The average blood alcohol concentration (bac) is modeled by the following function.

c(t) = 0.0225te^{-0.0467t}

In which t is measured in minuted.

How rapidly was the BAC increasing after 5 minutes?

This is c'(t) when t = 5.

Using the derivative of the product.

Derivative of the product:

c(t) = f(t)*g(t)

c'(t) = f'(t)*g(t) + f(t)*g'(t)

In which problem:

f(t) = 0.0225t

g(t) = e^{-0.0467t}

So

c'(t) = 0.0225e^{-0.0467t} - 0.0225*0.0467*te^{-0.0467t}

c'(5) = 0.0225e^{-0.0467*5} - 0.0225*0.0467*5e^{-0.0467*5} = 0.0137

After 5 minutes, the BAC was increasing at the rate of 0.0137 mg/mL a minute.
