SO-Miller included Tituba in the crucible to show how minorities and people of darker skin colour were typically scapegoated for wild and nasty crimes, like when those white girls were caught doing witchcraft in the woods. But the thing is, the true victim of the witch hunt is Tituba because hse is the first one thrown under the bus. miller includes Tituba in the crucible to illustrate how minorities, and specifically black people, are often used as the first to blame scapegoats in any sort of rumor mill
