The correct answer is personalization.
This is a type of fallacy where you involve somebody's personality into an argument, even though it is completely unnecessary or wrong to do that. For example, if you are going to a dinner party and you are late, and the dinner is overcooked (completely unrelated to you being late), you might start thinking that it happened because of your tardiness, whereas that is obviously not the case.

Why do you think Spain wanted exclusive rights to the new world
Alborosie
During the old times, Spain's primary interests are the 3G's (God, Glory, & Gold). It is logical for this country, being a colonizer, to gain interest in acquiring as many territories as possible. The countries strategy involves depriving other countries to access the lands discovered by Christopher Columbus except when there is permission from the Spanish authority. This gave Spain the opportunity to monopolize the lands of the New World.

Tamiku [17]
D is the most correct answer. With the availability heuristic, the most recent example of a situation is the one that will stick in a person's mind most readily. With the example of the starving polar bear, Mr. Young is most easily swayed to the extensiveness of climate change than through any information that might have come to him less recently.
