The Committees of Correspondence intensified the divisions between the colonists and Britain by rallying colonial opposition against British policy. They also established a political union among the Thirteen Colonies which brought the colonies together in rising up against the British and their policies

The great role of the Correspondence Committee was to gather colonial opposition to British policy and form political unity among the Thirteen Colonies. The Correspondence Committee was formed in response to British policy leading up to the American Revolution throughout the Thirteen Colonies.

EXPLANATION

The Correspondence Committee was a temporary emergency government. It acted as a communication network between leaders in thirteen colonies. The strongest Correspondence Committee on the eve of the American Revolution was in the colonies of New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. This Correspondence Committee was established as an intercolonial provincial government. Boston was the first provincial government to be formed. This was because, since the end of the French and Indian Wars, the city of Boston has become a terrible den of terror.

The Boston Correspondence Committee was also accused of initiating the "tea crisis" which was the driving force of the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773. The real thing was carried out by the Sons of Liberty. As it turned out, the Boston Correspondence Committee and the Sons of Liberty worked together with each other, because most members of the Boston Correspondence Committee are also secretly members of the Sons of Liberty, considering the Sons of Liberty is a secret underground movement.

In short, Whereas the Correspondence Committee was established on the idea of formal diplomacy and had the function of being a stepping stone to action, the great role of the Correspondence Committee was to gather colonial opposition to British policy and form political unity among the Thirteen Colonies.

You have most likely heard the adage, "Ignorance is bliss." Do you agree with this? Why or why not? How does this relate to Faus
solong [7]
I agree with the statement ignorance is bliss. There are just some things better left unknown. For example when and how we will die knowing that would cause us to live differently then we would have if we hadn't known we would try to avoid it. It relates to Faustus because he clearly disagree's strongly with that statement he decides to go after ultimate know;edge and wisdom no matter the consequences even if it means an eternity in hell.
