One of the early Chinese civilizations was located between the two main rivers, (google them for more details) Anyways, unlike most of China, the plain between the two rivers is fertile, allowing the people to grow rice and other foods. Along with that, I am certain that they had mountains and deserts to the west. If they could be used against natural disasters (I doubt they'd come in west) it'd be helpful! Good day

The development of agricultures that stopped people from hunting/gathering ways into planting crops/harvest, which became the main economy of the west
- Cities
The building that by the western societies prevent invaders from taking their
resrouces
- Population
Due to massive food source, the population in western hemisphere grew rapidly
New England Colonies:
•farming was difficult because of poor soil
•grew corn, pumpkins, rye, squash, and beans
Middle Colonies:
•prosperous farming
•grew wheat, barley, oats, rye, and corn
Southern Colonies:
•depended on cash crop farming
•grew cotton, tobacco, rice, and indigo
