Answer: I would say Martin Luther King is an important character of American history and American history explains much of Martin Luther fight for human rights. Martin Luther king was a fighter and his fight was against racism and discrimination.

I would say that American history is still adapting to his central or main argument but American history did play a big part in speech or what he argued for.
