An example of the predator/prey dynamic is the rise and fall of the population of Canadian lynx and its favorite prey the snowsh

oe hare. The two populations were estimated each year for 75 years from the number of animals caught by fur traders. The hare population was found to rise and fall in a ten-year cycle, with that of the lynx following two years later. How does this predator/prey relationship affect the health of a population?

Answer:

A predator pray is a relationship between two species in which one harms other.

Predator are dependent on prey.

As Canadian lynx eats snowshoe hare and hare population was found to rise and fall in a ten-year cycle, with that of the lynx following two years later.

Explanation:

 • This can be explained in this way, if the food of a specie decrease, after some time that specie will also decrease and if the food of a specie increase after some times, their population will also increases.
 • As the hare decreases, the food for hare will be less in first year they will consume normally eating remaining hare but next year they will start competition each other for food. And their population will decrease due to lack of food and competition.

And when hare increases the number lynx start increasing due to favorable eating condition.

If a homozygous black bull is mated with a homozygous white cow and the calf is gray, this could be an example of ___________. H
givi [52]

Answer:

Incomplete dominance

Co-dominance

Explanation:

Gregor Mendel discovered the principles that governs heredity, in which one of them is that an allele called DOMINANT allele, is capable of masking the expression of its variant allele called RECESSIVE allele in a heterozygous state. However, there has been genetic scenarios contrary to this his LAW OF DOMINANCE.

One of those Non-mendelian pattern of inheritance is a phenomenon called INCOMPLETE DOMINANCE, where an allele does not mask the expression of another completely, instead their combined state produces a third intermediate phenotype that is different from both parents. This is the case of the homozygous black bull mated with a homozygous white cow to produce a grey calf. The grey phenotype is an intermediate phenotype of both the black and white colours that forms due to incomplete dominance.

Another genetic scenario is called CO-DOMINANCE, where one allele is neither dominant nor recessive to the other allele, but instead both phenotypes becomes simultaneously expressed in the heterozygous offspring. In this case, the black bull and white cow were mated to form a heterozygous calf with both black and white spots.

The correct answer is - secondary succession.

Explanation:

Recolonization of the plant and animals to habitat after a major disturbance such as flood, lava eruption, wildfire, or human disturbance is characterized as secondary succession.

In this particular case, there is secondary succession occurs, there is man-made disturbance tajes place as logging company clear the spruce trees from a habitat, and after clearing the land the spruce seedlings began to sprout, birds, rabbits recolonize to the area.

Explain have a fats sugars and or starch contained in seeds or milk are useful for the plant sprouting from the seed or the baby
Kipish [7]
There is a lot of calories in fats that can be a good help and can be used for growth, fats are high energy molecules that help in growing organism. Fats produces carbon dioxide, water, and ATP when metabolism. The sugars and or starch is useful in the same method, they provide calories necessary for a seed or baby animal to grow. The sugars used in glycolysis and then the products of glycolysis used in the citric acid cycle, and the starch can be cleaved into more manageable sugars.
