Slow: Is alike with foe, because they both rhyme, and is different, because it means to be moving at a low speed. Foe: Alike in the sense that it rhymes, and different because it means your enemy or opponent. These two words can also be alike, because they both mean "annoying things".

Answer:

Slow and foe have similar negative or pessimistic connotations, since slow can refer to something or somebody dull and foe to an adversary. As a result, both words can be used to describe things or people that are irritating. Besides, both of them have the same vowel sounds, /ou/.

On the other hand, they are different because slow is an adjective and foe is a noun.
