Slow: Is alike with foe, because they both rhyme, and is different, because it means to be moving at a low speed. Foe: Alike in the sense that it rhymes, and different because it means your enemy or opponent. These two words can also be alike, because they both mean "annoying things".

<em>Slow </em>and <em>foe </em>have similar negative or pessimistic connotations, since <em>slow </em>can refer to something or somebody <em>dull </em>and foe to an adversary. As a result, both words can be used to describe things or people that are irritating. Besides, both of them have the same vowel sounds, /ou/.

On the other hand, they are different because <em>slow </em>is an adjective and <em>foe </em>is a noun.
