The correct option is "A)expanded the government’s right to monitor private communications."

The USA PATRIOT Act, is a federal law of the United States. It was approved by an overwhelming majority by both the House of Representatives and the US Senate and then promulgated by US President George W. Bush on October 26, 2001, after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

The objective of this law is to expand the control capacity of the State in order to combat terrorism, improving the capacity of the different US security agencies by coordinating them and providing them with greater powers of vigilance against terrorist crimes. The law also enacted new crimes and toughened the penalties for terrorism offenses.

The Patriotic or Patriot Act, as it has been denominated in Spanish, has been harshly criticized by various human rights organizations and organizations, due to the restriction of liberties and constitutional guarantees that it has supposed for citizens, both American and foreign.

adelina 88 [10]

The correct answer is Option B) They United against Native American tribes.

Poeple moved to specific towns because they were united against the Native American tribes.

As the United States began to expand westwards, they encoursted lush landscapes with huge potential. However, all these places were already inhabited by numerous Native American tribes.

The government began to establish small towns in these places.

As more and more people heard about these prosperous areas, they began to converge and populate these towns.

How did contesting the science of acid rain benefit the reagan administration?
GalinKa [24]
Ronald Reagan, who achieved the unity of the entire liberal American left, thought very little about the environment, in political terms, and did not fear that his popularity would be damaged by his decisions; so Reagan dismissed the problem of acid rain and the ideas to end it. During the 1980s, pollution was a major problem in Canada, and Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau blamed US factories for pollution, so the Environmental Protection Agency asked Reagan to commit more budget to reduce acid rain; but Reagan rejected it, saying it would waste government money, and even questioned all scientific evidence about the causes of acid rain.

Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

Explanation: So inPost-war state-building is fraught with challenges as “war-makers” pivot to become “state-makers.” Citizen assessments of public good provision and physical security provide a measure of how state-building is perceived internally. State-building may also necessitate external dependence Russia, for example, provides significant financial and military assistance to the post-Soviet yet new state authorities want to be seen as more than puppets. We study the relationship between internal and external state-building dynamics in fostering citizen confidence in the post-war state. I truly hope this helped
