A diaspora means that the Jews scattered in exile outside the territory of Judea.

First, the <em>Assyrians</em> conquered Israel in <em>722BC</em> and the Hebrew people were scattered all over the Middle East. They are called "the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel" because they disappeared from history books.

Emperor<em> Nebuchadnezzar</em> deported the Judaeans in <em>597 </em> BC, but he granted them to remain in a community in the city of Babylon.

We find another group of Judaeans that traveled to Egypt, where they settled in the Nile delta.

In <em>538BC,</em> <em>Cyrus the Persian</em> authorized Jews to return to their land but many chose to remain in Babylon. Jews in Egypt stayed there and became mercenaries in the Elephantine Island.

Answer:

<h2>The Exile, Hellestinic, & Roman</h2>

Explanation:

A diaspora is simply means the scattering of a people, in this case, the Jews.  The Assyrians conquered Israel in 722 BC and the Jews were scattered all over the Middle East. This diaspora is called the Assyrian diaspora. Next, Emperor Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon deported the Jews in 597 BC, but he allowed them to remain in a community in Babylon.  This is known as Babylonian diaspora. After that, In 538 BC, Cyrus the Great authorized Jews to return to their homeland but many chose to stay put. The Roman diaspora of 70 AD was the fourth and most destructive of all the diasporas.  The holy city was burned by the invading armies and many Jews lost their lives.

Answer:

Topic: The Founding Fathers rebelling against the British government and declaring independence

My Viewpoint: They were Justified

Explanation:

The first question to ask is this:

By what philosophy, moral justification, logical necessity and or natural law did the Britons see fit to colonise the Founding Fathers?

Colonisation was not exactly a British idea for they had also been colonised by France. History shows that the relationship Between Britain and France was severed on the alter fueled by gallons of blood from various wars between both countries. If Britain saw it fit to exercise self-determination, then there is no reason the founding Fathers should be held liable to a wrong for doing the same.

Determine which direction a nation’s PPC will shift as a result of these major events. Several multinational companies close the
Alchen [17]

Several multinational companies close their factories in the nation because of its changing economic climate.

A nation PPC in this case would suffer a consistent loss in the first years, due to the impact of the multinational companies not only in their respective sectos but also in the aftermath. However, it depends on the respond of the nation to this event how the PPC would be affected in the long period. If the nation has a robust and efficient welfare state, it is possible to absorbe the loss quickier than in other cases.

---

A mass e-learning initiative makes education cheaper and accessible across the nation.

In this case the PPC would likely increase, due to the fact that the education makes possible for the people to access jobs that are paid better, thus having more power of purchase, with positive repercussion on all the nation, not only from a PPC point of view, but also in the quality of life and in the overall happiness of the nation.

---

Government money is illegally taken by increasingly corrupt bureaucrats and politicians.

Corruptions is one of the factor that leads to a loss in the PPC, because much of the economy is hidden from the pubblic, thus it is not affecting the macro-economy of the nation on a statistic base. Corruction however would likely affect the real economy, causing loss of PPC due to lack of jobs, influence on the market and so on.

---

New economic policies facilitate the signing of new international trade agreements.

International trade agreements usually lead to an increase in the PPT, because exportations and importations are heavily affected by the international trade. Less taxes, open market and open exchange of people are fundamental steps in the making of a productive nation with an high PPC, as it possible to see with examples all over the world.

Question 1
bearhunter [10]

Answer:

B. He has not earned enough money to spend on the upcoming holiday.

C. <em>“For Reuven the furrier it was a bad year, and after long hesitation he decided to sell Zlateh the goat.” </em>

Explanation:

Isaac Bashevis Singer's short story "Zlateh the Goat," tells the story of how a poor furrier's attempts to sell his prized goat to cover up the expenses he'd need for the upcoming Hanukkah. But with the sudden snowfall and the 'connection' that the goat and Aaron, the one responsible for delivering the goat to the butcher, the goat was saved and thus remained with the family.

At the beginning of the story, the narrator described how business was poor for the furrier, Reuven which led to the decision to sell the goat to the butcher. This will enable the family to have some money to spend on the Hanukkah festival. This implication is supported by the statement that Reuven <em>"decided to sell Zlateh . . ."</em> to buy gifts for the family and <em>"holiday necessaries"</em>.

Thus, the correct answer is option B for part A and option C for Part B.
