Answer:   The correct answer is :  The message is reinforced by Douglas giving him a lot of authority and also reinforcing the idea of the great principles of political freedom and natural justice. During his speech he shows that he is polite. He wanted to present a simple speech, with a positive message for people and that no one was affected. Douglas gives a sad regret in his speech to the issue of slaves. He said verbatim: the Declaration of Independence is the ring to the chain of destiny of your nation; So, in fact, I consider it. The principles contained in that instrument are saving principles. Respect those principles, be faithful to them on all occasions, in all places, against all enemies and at any price.

Novay_Z [31]

Hello. This question is incomplete. The full question is:

Which piece of evidence best reveals how Elijah’s words contribute to Joe’s death?  A. “Looka theah, folkses!” cried Elijah Mosley, slapping his leg gleefully. “Theah they  go, big as life an’ brassy as tacks.” (Paragraph 2)  B. “He rides that log down at the saw-mill jus’ like he struts ‘round wid another  man’s wife — jus’ don’t give a kitty.” (Paragraph 5)  C. “Talkin’ like a man, Joe. Course that’s yo’ fambly affairs, but Ah like to see grit in  anybody.” (Paragraph 16)  D. “Aw, Ah doan’t know. You never kin tell. He might turn him up an’ spank him furgettin’ in the way, but Spunk wouldn’t shoot no unarmed man.” (Paragraph 22)

Answer:

D. “Aw, Ah doan’t know. You never kin tell. He might turn him up an’ spank him furgettin’ in the way, but Spunk wouldn’t shoot no unarmed man.” (Paragraph 22)

Explanation:

This question is about "SPUNK".

The paragraph shown above is the best evidence that Elijah's words contributed to Joe's death, even though the biggest conflict Joe has in history is with Spunk who is having an affair with his wife, but Spunk was not the main one responsible for Joe's death, even though they fought.

Which written work is often read as a disguised criticism of England’s imperialist activities?
sashaice [31]
The correct answer is The Tempest.
The Tempest is a play written by William Shakespeare in 16th century England. Although it may not seem as a criticism of England and its politics of imperialism, if you really think about it, it actually is. It tells the story of Prospero who visits an island, takes control over it, and imposes his own culture and politics over its people, which is exactly what England did to other countries.

Read this conclusion.when people carelessly discard plastic, the word’s oceans suffer. Marine life must share space with water b
Stells [14]

The options there is a growing island of plastic waste off the coast of California and plastic waste is not easily biodegradable... doesn't work because both doesn't call the audience to do something about the way plastic is discarded. They're just facts.

Although the last option does call for action, it isn't the best answer.

The best answer is make an effort to properly dispose of plastic trash and recyclables. The main idea of the passage is how careless people are when they're disposing plastic. Also, it does call for action.
