The Senate hoped to learn from the Watergate tapes "what the president knew and when he knew it," in the now famous words of Howard Baker, one of the principal members of the Senate Watergate Committee, which was created especially to find out it there was a connection between Richard Nixon's presidential campaign and the break-in into the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate hotel that had been perpetrated only five months before election day (in June of 1972), and that, as it was discovered, had been financed illegally by campaign contributions.

The White House prevented the investigation from taking place, but one of Nixon's aides, John Dean, revealed that the president had been involved in covering-up the incident. In addition, it was revealed that President Nixon had recorded all the conversations that had taken place at the Oval Office, so the Senate was hoping to find out what he and his aides had said about Watergate, but the President refused to give up the tapes. He was eventually forced by the Supreme Court to provide them, and they confirmed that he had been indeed involved in the break-in and in other illegal activities.

Option A.By writing sensational headlines is the right answer

Explanation:

The impact of Public opinion created due to Yellow journalism was as large that it compelled America to stand against Spain.

One important factor which paved way for America to wage war against Spain was the practice of Yellow Journalism. Editors of journals and newspapers were so biased that they started to print catchy and sensational Headlines in order to gain the attention of the public.

The headlines were capitalized and the public who have the habit of skimming the newspapers were swayed away by such capitalized fonts thinking that the news which was published was true and started to raise their voice against Spain. The public clamored to go on war against Spain.

Aneli [31]

Further explanation

Poverty Is a global problem, as people who understand this term subjectively and comparatively, while others see it in terms of moral and evaluative, and others see it from an established scientific point of view. The term developing countries is usually used to refer to countries - poor country.

Poverty alleviation remains one of the most pressing problems in Indonesia. The number of Indonesians living on an income less than S2 as per day is almost the same as the total population living on as S2 per day from all countries in the East Asia region except China. The government's commitment to alleviate poverty is stated in the medium-term development plan (RPJM) 2005 - 2009 which was compiled based on the national poverty reduction strategy (SNPK). In addition to signing the Millennium Development Goals for 2015 in its RPJM, the government has set the main goals in poverty alleviation for 2009, including ambitious targets to reduce poverty from 18.2% in 2002 to 8 , 2% in 2009 although the national poverty rate is close to a critical condition, this still means that around 40 million people currently live below the poverty line. After all, although Indonesia is now a middle-income country, the proportion of the population living on income is less than S2 per day
