1- The first news is about something that the readers have been waiting for, something they will get surprised at : " The news is out!". From the first sentence we learn that Forest Home Appliance has appointed Leila Croft as the new chief of production . In this sentence, the reader can get this information: who, what, when and where.

2- These lead sentences sum up the news that will be developed deeply in the article. A man has been seen. This man has been identified in connection with a robbery. However, the Police Chief does not want to say anything about this situation. Again, in these lead sentences we have got the who, what, when and where.

She does not seem impulsive: she seems to be working steadily towards the goal (defeating the Nazis) (so she is also not unsteady).

I think that the best word to describe her is "resilient" -for example because she went back to work after sustaining an injury.

Which statements support the inference that Brutus is motivated to protect Rome from tyranny? Check all that apply. Brutus fears
bija089 [108]

Answer:

(B) “Brutus cares about all Romans” And (E) “Brutus does not know how Caesar will change”.

These statements support the inference that Brutus is motivated to protect Rome from tyranny.

Explanation:

'Julius Caesar' by “William Shakespeare” is a story about how Roman Republic came to an end.

“Julius Caesar” was a great Roman 'general' and 'senator'. His good friend, “Brutus” loved Rome more than he loved his dear friend, Caesar. So, his enemies even manipulated him to believe that Caesar might misuse his powers and planned to kill him to preserve the "Republic".

Brutus strongly believed that Caesar's death will benefit Rome. He is thus confused between supporting Caesar and Rome and is the “tragic hero” of the play.

The best answer for this question would be:

The lack of desire to question the government.

In the excerpt, the question that is asked by George is another way to ponder on how society does not questions the actions of the government. If the people do not question these minor problems, society might turn chaotic.
