The Renaissance was a movement that aimed to bring back a series of philosophies that were laid to rest during the feudal period. The Middle Ages were a period where the Catholic Church dominated the political and the sciences. With the Renaissance, the Greek philosophy was brought back, scientists began to study and apply other methods that were not linked to the Church, there was a rebirth of arts and science during this period.
