The correct answer to this question would be alternatives C)"He emphasizes that the injustices he describes are affecting fellow humans who have emotions." and E)"He highlights the cruelty of the US government and white Americans."

Satanta, aslo known as White Bear, was a Kiowa war chief, who lived from 1820 to 1878. He fought the First Battle of Adobe Walls, and earned enduring fame for his use of an army bugle to confuse troops in battle.

As you can see, his assertive and passionate tone helps him speak to the emotions of the listeners, appealing to their feelings as fellow humans with emotions, to try and make them understand the hardships he's been through.

He emphasizes the injusticies he describes are affecting fellow humans who have emotions.Men and women belonging to several different American Tribes suffered the relocation project of the USA Government at the time. Each tribe had a reason to want to remain in their lands. They identified with those places, they had buried their respected and loved ancestors. It was not just land to let into strangers´s hands (they were not Native);it was extirpating and dissolving traditions , history and culture. It was injustice.

He also highlights the injusticies commited by the US government and white Americans.According to Satanta, the government left his people unprotected, and with an interest, which was genuine and in some way understandable, they took lands from the natives to build cities, open roads, find precious minerals. The tone used for the description of the injysticies is so passionate that any reader is able to have an uncomfortable sensation, and may be feel some guilt.

to show why she decided to paint cityscapes

This is the most probable reason. She was already an artist when she graduated so that knocks out option 1. She might have been creative and determined, but this is not particularly mentioned (unless you count the last line). She does not exactly use her education to figure out what to do.
