The correct answer is: dine at the restaurant without alerting the management that she is coming in to do a review.

A reporter planning to write a review of the newest restaurant in town must always stay incognito. The purpose of a review is to provide a true account of the restaurant's merits and disadvantages, this can only be guaranteed if the reporter appears unannounced.

If she calls the restaurant in advance and announces her coming, the restaurant will prepare itself for the visit and the surprise element would be gone. The management would then put on an act to impress the reporter and show her the best of the restaurant only. The cooks could be told to cook some special dishes, the waiters to behave exceptionally nice etc. In other words, the reporter would not see the real, every day run of the restaurant.

Read the excerpt from The Odyssey. "My friend, here is the beautiful place—who could mistake it? Here is Odysseus' hall: no hall
mars1129 [50]

The correct answer is A. Home

Explanation:

In the excerpt presented one character describes Odysseus' hall or home; this description shows the place is important because the character refers to it as a "beautiful place"; also, the description shows the hall is unique "no hall like this See how one chamber grows out of another", and this will remain over time "no man at arms could break this gateway down". According to these ideas, this excerpt shows the importance of home in Greek society because in this context where The Odyssey was written home is described positively and with an admiration tone.
