He makes a connection between Henry VIII, The Thousand and One Nights, the Boston Tea Party and the Declaration of Independence. It is unclear whether Huck believes all this to be true or not. However, he does tell all of these stories for a purpose. Huck wants to prove that throughout history, kings and other noble people have always behaved the same way, and we should not expect them to be any different nowadays.
