Waste is often known as garbage, which is often undesirable because it does not have a lot of economic value. When viewed from a chemical point of view, this waste contains chemicals from organic compounds and inorganic compounds.

The existence of waste can endanger the environment if there is no further processing and exceeding the limits. The negative impact can attack human health because it causes poisoning caused by waste.

Some factors that influence the quality of waste are waste volume, pollution content, and frequency of waste disposal. To handle waste, waste treatment and treatment is needed. Waste management is divided into two namely:

1. Waste management according to the level of care

2. Waste management by the characteristics of waste.

If there is no treatment, waste can also cause natural disasters. One of them is flooding. Flood disasters caused by rubbish are human actions, due to the habit of disposing of garbage. Because of the amount of solid waste that is getting more and more certainly more and more rivers, when the rainy season arrives river water can overflow and cause flooding. This, of course, can hamper our daily activities. Therefore it is wise to dispose of waste.
