Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) was an American writer, considered one of the most important novelists in the United States. He participated in World War 1, he was wounded and end up in an Italian hospital in Milan where he fell in love with a nurse. From those experiences, he wrote his famous book "A Farewell to Arms."
