The prejudice against Nnaemeka’s marriage was not confined to his little village. In Lagos, especially among his people who work

ed there, it showed itself in a different way. Their women, when they met at their village meeting, were not hostile to Nene. Rather, they paid her such excessive deference as to make her feel she was not one of them. But as time went on, Nene gradually broke through some of this prejudice and even began to make friends among them. Slowly and grudgingly they began to admit that she kept her home much better than most of them.
–“Marriage Is a Private Affair,”
Chinua Achebe

What traditional values shape the women’s attitudes toward Nene? Check all that apply.

The women befriend Nene because they value Nnaemeka.
Nigerian fathers encourage their children to challenge tradition.
Nene’s value to them soars because of her homemaking skills.
The women of Nnaemeka’s tribe are indifferent toward Nene.
The women of Nnaemeka’s tribe treat Nene differently because she is an outsider.

The right choices are:

Nene’s value to them soars because of her homemaking skills.

The women of Nnaemeka’s tribe treat Nene differently because she is an outsider.

Explanation:

Even though the fact that it is true that the women befriend Nene because they Value Nnaemeka.

This isn’t really a traditional value shaping the other women's attitude towards Nene. It is more like people are free to have judgement and they tolerate Nene because they value Nnaemeka as a person. Let's not get confused just because some choices have the word 'value' in them.

MC)Read the sentence below and answer the following question: During the whole of a dull, dark, and soundless day in the autumn
Llana [10]
It suggests the narrator is traveled without thinking of the time.
This one makes the most sense because he says "at length, I found myself" some traveled for a while. "As the shades of the evening drew on" supports that he was traveling without hinting of the time because night draws on unexpectedly.
