The correct answer is: B) water

Large molecules or macromolecules are necessary for the functioning of an organism and can be classified into four main types: proteins, lipids, nucleic acids and sugars (carbohydrates). All of them are polymers, meaning that are composed of many basic units (monomers) linked by different types of bonds into a functional structure.

Synthesis of these molecules is done through the dehydration (or condensation) reactions, which means that hydrogen (H) from one monomer combines with the hydroxyl group (OH) from another monomer releasing a molecule of water (H2O). Monomers linked via dehydration synthesis reactions share electrons and form covalent bonds.

2.) From where do lion cubs get their chromosomes? How does this happen to produce the pattern that you see?
Vlad [161]

Answer:

This question is incomplete

Explanation:

This question is incomplete.

However, lions have 38 chromosomes (19 pairs) and <u>there cubs get their chromosomes from there parents</u>; with each parent donating 19 each. They also have a pair of chromosomes known as sex chromosomes (X and Y). The female always donates the X chromosome and the male donates either a X (which leads to a female cub) or a Y (which leads to a male cub), just like in many mammals.

NOTE: Chromosomes are threadlike structures in the nucleus of a cell that carry/stores genetic materials/genes.

Answer:

Hello, The DNA fingerprinting technique and development and comparison of physical fingerprints can be the methods used for the purpose of solving crimes and identification of missing person. The DNA fingerprinting can be done from the physical evidences such as blood, sweat, hair, tissues, teeth and other material obtain at crime scene. These can be compared with the suspects, victim and missing persons so as to establish their identity. The physical fingerprints can be developed on the scene of crime and compared with the requested specimen from suspect, victim and the missing person or in case of impersonation to establish the desired identity.

Name the three molecules that are illustrated in Model 1.
FromTheMoon [43]

Answer:

Pentanol, glucose and fatty acid.

Explanation:

Pentanol, glucose and fatty acid are the three molecules which are present in  the given model number 1. In the model, there are three different molecular diagrams for each molecule. The first one is ball and stick model, the second one is Lewis structure and the third one is line drawing method. All diagrams for a same molecule is totally different from another.

One hypothesis for the original function of precursors of charged trna is that
lana66690 [7]

tRNA-precursors were smaller than the modern tRNA and their primary function was to participate in the formation of new structures by joining two or more RNA molecules.

The adaptor hypothesis is the explanation of how information could be extracted from a nucleic acid into a string of amino acids in a specific sequence. The proposed explanation involved recognition between the adaptor (today tRNA) and the template nucleic acid .
