Answer:

5.2 × 10 ⁹ cfus

Explanation:

Using the dilution factors

0.1 ml of the final dilution has 52 colonies

1 ml will have approximately 520 colonies

10 ml of the final sample will have 5200 colonies

at 1 / 100 dilution

1 ml of the sample will have 5200 colonies

100 ml of the sample will have 520000 colonies

1 ml of the 0.1 ml + 9.9 ml has 520000 colonies

10 ml will have 5200000

at the second stage of the dilution

0.1 ml of the slurry had 5200000 colonies

1 ml will have 52000000 colonies

10 ml will have 520000000 colonies

100 ml of the initial sample ( 10 grams + 90 ml ) = 5200000000 colonies =

5.2 × 10 ⁹ cfu

Give three instantaneous scale (time) examples of Earth's systems, two long-term scale (time) examples of Earth's sytems, and th
Goshia [24]

The Earth comprises many spheres of subsystems, which associate with each other to develop a composite and spontaneously changing system of the Earth. The processes taking place in the system of the Earth occurs on spatial scales changing from fractions of millimeters to thousands of kilometers, and on time scales, which varies from milliseconds to billions of years.

The examples of instantaneous scales are a rotation of the Earth, breathing, an earthquake.

The examples of long-term scales are making coal and plate tectonics.

The system of the Earth is featured by various overlapping cycles in which matter is recycled again and again. The cycles involve interactions between multiple spheres and systems. The examples of cycles are rock cycle, day and night, and seasons.

Volcanoes discharge a huge concentration of particulate matter into the atmosphere. These particles function as nuclei for the development of droplets of water (hydrosphere). The rainfall, that is, hydrosphere usually upsurges after an eruption, initiating growth of the plant (biosphere). Thus, volcanoes and volcanic activities are a good illustration of system interactions.

aleksklad [387]
The answer to this question would be: b.electromagnetic or weak nuclear

The electromagnetic force can be repulsive or attractive because it was influenced by the magnetic charge. The same charge (positive with positive) will be repulsive but different charge will be attractive(negative and negative). The gravitational force will always be attractive, not repulsive.
Weak nuclear can do both like electromagnetic force.

Jet001 [13]

Answer:

Water

Explanation: Soil contains various types of the components in it. The organic matter present in the soil provides fertility to the soil.

The minerals and various types of the salts is also present in soil that helps in the growth of the plants. The dead and decaying organic matter, fungi and decaying plants adds fertility to soil being organic material.

So, Water is not an organic matter.

A student draws a fence with several gate as part of a model of cellular transport explain what defence indicates represent blam
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

The given question says that a student has constructed a model of cellular transport using fences and several gates.

This model can be used to demonstrate the cellular transport.

The gates of the fences can be supposed as the protein pumps and the other fence demonstrates the lipid bilayer.

Let’s suppose in the fence, there are many cattles, and outside, there are less cattles, but the student open the gate and bring more cattles inside the fence. In this case, the transport of the cattles is similar to the active transport of the molecules using protein pumps. At cellular level, the energy for the active transport is provided by ATP molecules.

Now, let’s say, the student wants to feed the cattles with some nutrition rich food, which can help in maintaining the health of the cattles. The student fills his car with the cattle food and he enters inside the fence through gates. In this case, the food was not present in the fence, but was abundant in the outside environment, so, the diffusion would occur. But food cannot come self, without help of others, so, the movement is facilitated by the car, as it is done by the carrier proteins. Hence, it is an example of facilitated diffusion.
