Harry Truman became the U.S. President on 1945 due to Roosevelt's death. His beliefs ruled against communism, that is why he created what we today known as The Truman Doctrine, in which he supported free countries that were under threat by other political movements or groups, this also pretended to reassure his approval to capitalism.

When a country was under attack or threat, he helped their armies to battle and eradicate communism. In 1950, the communist government of North Korea attacked South Korea and Truman sent help as a way to eradicate communism worldwide.

He was mainly attracted to capitalism.
