What term relates to the impact of an advertisement fading away after a few weeks?
Tpy6a [65]

Answer: The term that relates to the impact of advertisement fading away after fee weeks is known is the 'Ad Decay'

Explanation:

Ad Decay refers to the fading away of memories of an advertisement and also little or no continued response to it. Since people claim that nothing is ever forgotten, the term Ad Decay may be more adequately defined as advertising wear out. This decay effect can be mathematically modelled and is usually expressed in terms of the ‘half-life’ of the advertising. A ‘two-week half-life’ means that it takes two weeks for the awareness of an advertising to decay to half its present level. Although every advertisement is said to have it's own unique half life span

Read this speech by Creon, which occurs in the second half of Antigone. Based on these lines, what can you infer about Creon's f
mariarad [96]

Based on the speech, we can infer that Creon views women as inferior beings to men. For him, a woman should be subservient to the will of the men in her life. Creon immediately labels any woman who goes against the decrees of men or opposes a man a “shrew.” He even warns Haemon against marrying such a woman because soon her embraces will turn “wax cold.” This statement implies that a woman’s sole job is to please her husband. Moreover, he speaks of anarchy in solely feminine terms, addressing it as a She, suggesting that women are responsible for everything that goes wrong in society. He also believes that it’s a man’s inherent right to tame and master women; he says that being cast out of society would be a better fate for a man than to admit that he was made to bend to a “woman’s will.”

Ancient Greece was a patriarchal society. As in other ancient societies, women led sheltered lives and were not meant to question decisions made by men. What sets Antigone apart is the heroine’s boldness to stand up to not just any man but to the king. Plus, she never once seems to regret her decision after she has defied the King’s order and buried Polyneices. Keeping these points in mind, Creon’s negative reaction to Antigone does seem to align with the ideas about gender roles in ancient Greece.

In paragraph 7, what rebuttal does the author make to the claim in paragraph 6 that America is too culturally diverse to have a
Eva8 [605]

This question is about "A quilt of a country".

Answer:

C. She supports the idea that every generation of immigrants arrives with the same dreams and faces the same problems of assimilation.

Explanation:

In paragraph 7, the author shows that even if cultural diversity prevents the country from reaching a national character, it brings all immigrants together in the same story and still achieves American glomorization about overcoming difficulties.

This is because all immigrants, including those who lived in the country in remote times, came with the same dreams and goals and had the same difficulties to establish themselves and readapt to the new environment. This unites them all in a single concept, thus being able to create a national character.
