Answer:

Among the options given on the question the correct answer is option D.

They argue that extremely difficult conditions inspired enslaved young men to invent new forms of music.

Explanation:The passage is from the book "Sugar Changed the World" by Marc Aronson and Marina Budhos. This couple were inspired to write about the bitter lives laid in the sweetness of sugar. In the given passage there is a description of the enslaved workers of Louisiana where they were employed in the sugar plants.

They were forced to work in the hard condition of the sugar plants and most of the workers were late teenagers to thirty years old. They were selected as they were strong for work. The female were only give birth of enslaved child so the labor force can be produced.

This critical condition of the young enslaved workers inspired them to form a new kind of music to express their feeling which was Jazz music. This music gave them the ability to think more than their struggling life of slavery.

Same as the music Bomba from Puerto Rico, Maculele from Brazil were the invention of the people from difficult and harder situation. They found these musics as their way to express feeling.

So, the authors used historical evidence to support their claim by arguing  that extremely difficult conditions inspired enslaved young men to invent new forms of music.

what is the appropriate balance between holding to your personal convictions while avoiding an undue level of judgmentalism
Naddik [55]

Answer:

The question above is a moral one.

In order to achieve a balance, we must become aware that the Author and Consitution that measures morality puts everyone on the same level.

That is, if one person lies, they are no different morally from one who steals.

This realisation that there is 'right' and 'wrong' and that there is one that administers over everyone to check the latter,  helps with conviction and checks one from being too quick to be others to judgement.

It's key to note that the good book makes it clear that a servant rises or falls before his Master and that with the same measure that one person judges another, shall he or she be judged.

Man at the best will always be imperfect. There are three stages of imperfection:

  1. Imperfect but getting worse
  2. Imperfect but just in-between
  3. Imperfect but getting better consistently

Cheers

In this excerpt from the poem "Thanatopsis" by William Cullen Bryant, what is the meaning of the word infant?
alukav5142 [94]
In this excerpt from the poem "Thanatopsis" by William Cullen Bryant, the writer tells us that when we die, we will "sleep" with all kinds of elegant and important people. There will be "patriarchs" (meaning parents, heads of families or male leaders) long since when the Earth was young ("the infant world"). This section of the poem deals precisely with the idea that when we die we all lie down together in a large grave, the writer making it sound like something good.
The answer to the meaning of the word infant has to do with the letter B) past.

Think about an Academic Subject that inspires you. Describe how you have furthered this interest inside and/ or outside of the c
lbvjy [14]
An academic subject that has inspired me is the study of geology and mining. I have furthered the knowledge of these subjects in the classroom by obtaining degrees in both geology and mining engineering, in the classroom and sometimes the laboratory. Outside the classroom, I have furthered this interest by, for example working 19 years at a large producing open pit mine and seeing all kinds of geological and mining situations, which both illustrate things I learned in class and also teach me new things about these subjects.
