If the writer paraphrases an opinion that she has read rather than reached independently, she is not required to cite the source
andrezito [222]
This statement is false.
Any time a writer paraphrases something he or she read somewhere, it means that he or she is paraphrasing somebody else's words, which means that person has to be credited for it. If the writer reached an opinion independently, then they wouldn't have to cite the source, but otherwise, they do, if they want to avoid plagiarism.

What does this mean?: "By discovering the literature of our neighbors, we may also learn about ourselves"
ExtremeBDS [4]
I think the point of the relation of the quote to Atwood's poem is that what we see (or presume) and what we experience can be two totally different things. The poem talks about the striking differences between Canada as tourists see it and Canada as the speaker sees it through her own experience. For the tourists, Saskatchewan is just another lake with "convenient" places to pose and take photos. For her, it is a very personal place of memories and meanings. In relation to the quote, we need to really meet our neighbors, instead of just believing the superficial images. We can really meet them through literature. By doing that, we will meet ourselves too, and realize the deep connection that binds us to other, different people and cultures.

We can achieve our aim if we work with proper plan , patience and courage . Justify the statement citing the example of the conq
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

Patience leads to self-discipline.

Explanation:

Self-Discipline and patience are related to each other. Self-Discipline brings patience and patience leads to self-discipline. If one has patience and courage to perform, he can plan better and achieve his aim. "The Battle of Kirtipur” is a perfect example of achieving success by patience, courage and having a plan.

The battle occurred in 1767, fought in Kirtipur between the Newars and invading Gorkalis. The army of Gorkhali was badly beaten twice. They failed miserably both the times by Newars. But, with patience and having courage, they planned the attack the third time and were successful under the command of Surpratap.
