Answer:

b. An increase in eustatic sea level is ultimately the result of a global cooling.

Explanation:

The eustatic sea level is the distance from the center of the earth to the sea surface, the sea level change of the volume of Earth’s oceans, imagining a giant bathtube where whatever event -tectonics, continental rise or subsidence- can have a significant effect on eustatic level.

An increase of the eustatic sea level can be generated by.

a. Changes in the size of the ocean basin, e.g. by tectonic seafloor spreading

b. Changes in total ocean water mass, e.g. by ice sheet runoff

c. Density changes of the water, e.g. by thermal expansion

The right answer to that question is D) decrease; global cooling

Further explanation

Global cooling is a drastic decrease in the temperature of the air, naturally, the temperature of the earth is lower than the average temperature. In contrast to global warming that occurs due to human activity, the cause of global cooling is more natural like a volcanic eruption. When the volcano erupts, the volcanic ash will rise into the atmosphere and make the atmosphere covered with dust, causing sunlight unable to penetrate the earth, when the earth does not receive sunlight, the earth will automatically experience a decrease in temperature, causing the earth to feel cold and can be ascertained when the earth entered an age called the ice age.

Another cause of global cooling is that when the sun is calm (there is almost no sunspot) in a fairly long period like what happened around 1600 - 1700 known as the Maunder minimum, at that time the cosmic rays that penetrate the Earth will be maximum and display a condensation core for the formation of high clouds (above 10 km) which reduce sunlight that penetrates the Earth's atmosphere, causing global cooling and causing the emergence of a small ice age.

Then what is the impact of global cooling on the eustatic sea?

Eustatic is a change in the volume of seawater on the surface of the earth, where this can occur due to human activity alone, for example, the impact of global warming and from nature such as global cooling. The impact of global cooling on the eustatic sea is the decrease in seawater volume, due to the freezing of the polar ice caps. While the impact of global warming on the eustatic sea is the increase in the volume of seawater that occurs due to melting ice at the poles of the earth.

What is most characteristic of a correlational study?
Naya [18.7K]

Answer: Correlational study is to refer the relationship between two variables.

Explanation:

Correlational study is perform there are three types (1) positive correlational (2)negative correlational (3) no correlational.

 • Positive correlational is they contain the variables increase and decrease at same time and positive correlational is indicates +1.00.
 • Negative correlational is they amount of the one variable increase and decrease and negative correlational is indicates -1.00.
 • No correlational is they no relation between the two variables.
 • Correlational study is perform the type of research in psychology as like the medicine, its also used it researches to perform on the experiment.
 • Correlational study is the relationship between they demonstrate variables and prove cannot change variable, they perform cause and effect relation.
 • There are three types correlational research (1)naturalistic (2) survey method (3) archival research.
 • Naturalistic :- is that method involve recording and observing the variables to the without interface, in this research view variables in natural settings.
 • Survey method is perform to the involve random sample of complete survey to the variables interest, they research perform cheap, easy and fast.
 • Archival research:- this research conduct to the long and reviewing historical case study, this research cannot change participant behavior.

Roman55 [17]

The correct answer is Visual

It is the first memory process, during which information is transformed so that it can be stored. This is a physiological process that begins with attention. A memorable event causes neurons to fire faster, organizing information into a systematic matrix that can be remembered later. The way we encode information determines how it will be stored and what suggestions will be effective when we try to retrieve it.
