Answer:

1250 g=1.25 Kg

Explanation:

We are given that Jason has five fishes of equally massed lead fish weights.

Weigh of each fish =250 grams

We have to find the value of total mass of the five lead fishing weights

Total number of fishes=5

In order to find the total mass we will use unitary method

Total mass is obtained by multiplying the total number of fishes with weight of one fish

Total mass=5\times 250

Total mass of five fishes=1250 g

1 kg =1000g

Then 1250 g=\frac{1250}{1000}=1.25 Kg

Hence, total mass of five lead fishing weights=1250 g=1.25 Kg

Why are there more mice than lions in an african ecosystem?
r-ruslan [8.4K]
I would think on of the reasons is because the food that mice eat has a greater variety, in the sense that while a lion may only eat meat and have to catch its prey the mice can eat without relying on other animals. Lions also have more competition between other animals like them for example cheetahs and leopards on the other hand a mice is more independent. On period where food is scarse mice can get on with eating what the earth provides like plants lions can’t.

Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

The factors which remained constant are as follows -

  1. material used as the membrane
  2. amount of substances used
  3. number of trials

The factors which have shown variation are as follows -

  1. molecule size (large starch molecules vs. small glucose molecules)
  2. whether the molecules diffused through the membrane (tubing)

Explanation

Some factors with in the experiments remained constant from the point of starting of the experiment to its end. While some factors were varied to study its impact on the experiment rate of progression or on the final product formed. Thus , out of the following given factors, the ones that remained constant are -

  1. material used as the membrane
  2. amount of substances used
  3. number of trials

The factors which have shown variation are as follows -

  1. molecule size (large starch molecules vs. small glucose molecules)
  2. whether the molecules diffused through the membrane (tubing)

What happens in an aphotic zone of a body of water
Temka [501]
Aphotic zone of a body of water refers to the part where almost no sunlight. With this condition of water, marine life is limited to species who does not light for survival. The aphotic area also is the basin of the dead organism that submerges from the photic part. Temperatures at these areas are also low.
