Answer: x = -4, y = 0.5, z = 5 +t

Hi!

The line L whose direction is parallel to vector V a passes through point A

is parametrized

P_L = Vt + A

Where t, is a real number, and P_L is a any point on line L.

In this case the direction is that of the z-axis , so V = (0, 0, 1)

A is the midpoint between points B = (0, -4, 9) and C=(-8, 5, 1)

The midpoint is A = (B + C)/2 = (-4, 0.5, 5)

Then the line is:

P_L = (0,0,1) t + (-4, 0.5, 5)

The equations for each coordinate are:

x = -4\\y = 0.5\\z = 5 + t

Darya [45]

Answer: Tickets cost $25 and each person must contribute $2 for the bus. There are 52 people going on the trip.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Mr. Bartley is taking the theater club on a field trip [which must include bus or other vehicle] to see the musical wicked. The school treasurer asked Mr. Bartley for the group's total ticket cost.

He wrote the following cost function for the school treasurer.

Total Cost =52(25+2)

Since cost function is a function based on number of people and per head cost.

So, the statement which best describe the cost function is "Tickets cost $25 and each person must contribute $2 for the bus. There are 52 people going on the trip."

Tanzania [10]

We can solve this problem by correctly analyzing the location of the points.

If the center of rotation is a point outside the triangle, then this would mean that there would be quadrant shift (revolution) of the whole triangle itself. Hence this would mean that the resulting triangle will not touch the pre-image at any point at all.

If the center of rotation is a point on the perimeter of the triangle, this would also result in a quadrant shift (revolution) or movement of the triangle.

Now if the center of rotation is a point inside the triangle, then this would be a simple rotation on its own quadrant hence the resulting image will touch the pre-image at more than one point. Hence the correct points are:

The employees were looking at their debts. Gomez is in $143.00 of debt; Cole has $203.00 of debt. Ford has $178.00 of debt. Simp
beks73 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

To owe money means you don't have any and borrowed some, or in other words are in debt.  Only three of them are in debt, so Simpson  doesn't owe anything.

For who owes more, let's start simple.  If someone brrowed a dollar from a friend, they are in debt for a dollar.  if they borrowed two dollars they suddenly owe more, two dollars instead of one.  So Whatever amount of debt is higher tells the highest amoutn owed.  Now, what is the highest amount any of the three remaining owe?  well, 143 < 178 < 203, so 203 is the highest so Cole owes the most.
