Answer:

I do agree with Howard Becker because negative labeling is a word that is used to describe a group of people negatively but it is not everybody that uses negative words in the wrong way.

People look at their impact or the position they have in an area and want to be different from others. Sometimes, negative labeling is used to motivate people. But negative labeling indeed has an impact on crime. For example, someone who is been called a thief can go on and start stealing likewise, a person who's been called a freak can end up committing a crime.
