This kind of representation of food groups may be too complex for preschoolers. The best way to represent this topic to children that young is by simpler categorizations, drawings they could relate to more, and vocabulary that is as simple as possible. In preschool, some children are just beginning to read, and they are most likely not to understand the meaning of words such as proteins.

The case is the opposite with medical health professionals interested in nutrition. This kind of categorization is too simple for them.

This food pyramid would be of no use to the scientists comparing sources of protein, as there is no precise information regarding them. Milk and other dairy products are categorized as proteins, despite food such as poultry, fish, tofu, and nuts being a better source of protein. Besides, scientists need a lot more information than a food pyramid can provide.

That leaves us with the sixth-graders, who have just enough knowledge to find this pyramid useful. They already know what food belongs to which category, can read labels and understand them with no problem, and may learn something new about nutrition.

We shouldn't force everyone to speak english, because while it is easier for people to communicate if they all speak the same language, there will still be some problems. Language allows us to have another way to differentiate between people groups, and is a part of the culture of each people group. Language in itself, because of it's diversity, can show what each culture believes in, what the set rules are, as well as how they interact, and using language, what they can build. Language also serves as a diversify of production of items. If everybody spoke the same language, while there will be technology advancement, we will not be able to see how different groups (language groups specifically) handle the same problems. While it is good to be at least bilingual, i believe that not everyone should speak english.

Odysseus told Penelope that because when Telemachus was able to grow facial hair it meant that he was becoming a man and that many years had passed, meaning he probably was dead. As for the disguise part, I suppose it was because beards cover a large portion of the face and make you look tougher, more masculine, and gruff.

Let's begin with the theme. What is the theme of this passage, exactly? Four people -- five if you include Dr. Heidegger -- are sitting around a circle bemoaning the fact that they have lost something not granted to anyone. They have lost their second youth. They have swallowed some water which gave them their youth only for a fleeting moment (it seems to them), and they mourn the passage of time that grants them no more youth that they had been living in for some short period.

The four felt that way. Only Dr. Heidegger seemed to have learned something that told him that he should be careful what he wished for: he might actually get it.

We have two themes then. We have 4 who wished for their youth back and we have one who didn't want any part of it. I think we have to cover both.

The best detail for those wanting it is the old woman who apparently got her youth back and she was incredibly beautiful. Now her hands are skinny and likely wrinkled. She puts those hands to her face and wishes herself to be dead because she despises the fact that she is old (and likely all her friends are dead and she is condemned to a life of weariness. I speculate, but is certainly unhappy about the aging process). She mourns that it is over so quickly. They all do. That's sentence 3.

Only Dr. Heidegger seems to understand that they got something they should never have received in the first place. The yellow sentence beginning with "Well I bemoan it not, ... " reflects his point view as well as anything. That's sentence 5.
