Snowball resembles Leon Trotsky in Animal Farm. Just like Trotsky, Snowball represented a good leadership. Under the leadership of Trotsky, Soviet gained World Power in early days of the Russian Revolution. And Snowball also helped brought education to the farm. But jealous of Trotsky, and greed to gain the power, he banish Trotsky. In Animal Farm also, Napoleon, who represented Stalin, did the same. He banished Snowball from the farm.

Or, you may just use a period, to change the two phrases used into two separate sentences.

Like this;

My mother and father are both scientists. For that reason, it must have been my destiny to become interested in biology.

ALSO, as you can see above, I have added a few words to the last sentence. Those three words, 'For that reason', give closure to the two sentences.
