During the first battle of the Korean War in June of 1950, D) North Koreans took control of the South Korean capital of Seoul. The North Koreans marched into and invaded South Korea, with the help of Soviet troops and Chinese troops. North Korea was backed by these two countries. On the 27th of June, the United Nations declared a ceasefire, but it soon became evident that the fighting would still take place. The South Koreans, who were at the time being defeated, were then backed by a coalition army backed by the United Nations.

(D) North Koreans took control of the South Korean capital of Seoul.

Further Explanations:

After the Second World War, the Korean War was the opening conflict of the Cold War. Korea was part of Japan since the early 20th century. When Japan faced conquest in the Second World War, Korea proclaimed itself independent. The United States laid emphasis on forming a democratic state to avoid spreading of communism in Korea.

Soon after the partition, North Korea started invading South Korea. It received assistance from China and the Soviet Union. Soviet provided tanks and rifles to North Korea. The actual war began on 25th June 1950 after the invasion of North Korea followed by a series of encounters along the borders.

President Harry Truman cited the National Security Council a report named NCS-68 to take control over the situation and establish peace in South Korea. Truman appointed General McArthur the Supreme commander of the United Force to control the situation. Mc Arthur landed with 10000 marines at Inchon on 15th September 1950 and by the end of the month, he was able to require Seoul and forced North Korean forces to flee completely away from South Korea.

Making Inferences The treaty states that not only lands now known but even lands "to be found hereafter" belong to one or the ot
kumpel [21]

Answer:

Yes

Explanation:

The phrase in this question is from the treaty made between Spain and Portugal in 1494. Even though it was centuries ago land continues to be divided in a similar fashion. Therefore, I believe that if a new planet were discovered today it's land would also be divided in the same way. The first group to discover would most likely claim it for themselves, a war would then break out for control, which would ultimately lead to a similar treaty being drafted and accepted dividing the land between the parties like it has always occurred.
