Answer:

The company should borrow $320,000 during february.

Explanation:

Cash Sales = 25%*$800,000

                   = $200,000

Credit Card Sales = 75%*$800,000

                              = $600,000

Bank Charges = 3%*$600,000

                        = $18,000

Selling price = 160% of Cost of purchases

Cost of purchases = Selling price/160%

                              = $800,000/160%

                              = $500,000

4% of Sales = 4%*$800,000

                    = $32,000

Particulars Amount Amount

Opening cash 150000

Add: Cash Sales 200000

Add: Card Sales 600000

Less: Card Charges 18000

Less: Purchases (500000)

Less: other disbursements (20000)

Less: Other disbursements 2 (32000)

Less: Note Due (600000)

Less: Closing balance (100000) -470000

Borrowing 320000

Therefore, The company should borrow $320,000 during february.

Alisiya [41]

Answer:

Explanation:

1.Amount to be paid Annually to fell leasing Company = $10,000.

Incremental rate of borrowing = 11%

Lease Period = 5 yrs.

2. Value of lease equipment as on 1st October 2017 i.e., date of lease.

= 10,000 * (PVOA) = (11* for 5 years)

=10,000 * 3.6959 (using -PVAF table)

= $ 36,959

Factors are used according to the table of PVAF

3.Lease liability as on 31-12-2017

= 10,000 * PVAD (11 * 4 years) [since 4 years in these)

= 10,000 * 3.44371

= $ 34,437.10

Lease liability as on 31st Dec 2018

= 10,000 * PVAD (11% 3 years) (still 3 yrs left as on 31-12 -2018)

= 10,000 * 2.71252 = $ 27,125.20

"I don't know, but I'll find out" is a customer service example of
Phantasy [73]

Answer:

an uninformed sales rep.

Explanation:

The phrase 'I don't know 'is forbidden in the customer service language. It implies that the customer service agent lacks knowledge or basic training to perform his or her duties. The expression reflects poorly on the agent and the employer.

Customers expect service agents to know most, if not everything, about their organization's products and services. That's the reason they seek support from the service department

Spade Agency separates its accounts receivable into three age groups for purposes of estimating the percentage of uncollectible
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

The total estimated uncollectible debt is $6000 as computed below

Explanation:

The total estimated uncollectible debt is computed as follows:

Accounts not yet due $25000*4% $1000

Accounts 1-60 days past due $10000*25% $2500

Accounts more than 60 days $5000*50% $2500

Total estimated uncollectible debt $6000

The necessary journal entry to record this estimate is shown below:

Dr bad debt expense $5000

Cr Allowance for uncollectible debt $5000

Even though $6000 is the estimated uncollectible, the implication is that the closing balance in allowance for uncollebtible debt should be $6000,since there is a credit of $1000 already in the account, the balance required to top it up to $6000 is $5000
