Billy Sunday was a prominent evangelist in the early-1900s. He spent his childhood in an orphanage and randomly worked as a funeral contractor at a young age before becoming a baseball professional in 1883. In 1891, she quit her career as a YMCA worker but soon held awakening meetings across the United States. He was a fundamentalist in his views.  

Sunday was an advocate of the Prohibition Act and had its reputation for two years before the Prohibition Act in 1917. He was regarded as a sensationalist in many circles, but he was widely supported by revival Christianity and laymen.
