. Sunrise Consultancy Sunrise Consultancy is a medium-sized consulting firm that operates 17 offices around the world (Dallas, C

hicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Jose, Toronto, Montreal, London, Paris, Sao Paulo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Mumbai). They have been using Internet connections to exchange email and files, but the volume of traffic has increased to the point that they now want to connect the offices via a WAN. Volume is low but expected to grow quickly once they implement a new knowledge management system. What type of a WAN topology and WAN service would you recommend? Why?

Answer: the type of WAN technology the company will use is Ring Network Topology.

The WAN service they will need is satellite services since it's connecting different remote countries.

Explanation: the ring network topology is suitable because network traffic can be routed in both directions. If a line connection fails, traffic or rerouted in the opposite direction and the communication is not lost. Another reason is that it can also make use of Repeaters to maintain network integrity and prevent data loss when traffic is high. It's also cheap to install.

Acid test ratio improved in 2018 from 1.10 in 2017 to 1.18 in 2018

The payment of $100 million accounts payable  would make  current ratio in 2017 improve from 1.83 to 2.03 and in 2018 from 2.00 to 2.25

The payment of $100 million accounts payable  would make  acid test ratio in 2017 from 1.10  to 1.12 and in 2018 from 1.18 to 1.22

Find computations below.

Jamison Paints makes and sells paint to home improvement stores. Jamison's only plant can produce up to 12 million cans of paint
Olin [163]

Answer:

Jamison's current total cost of making and selling 10 million cans of paint is $75,000,000 and the current cost per can of paint is $7.5

Explanation:

For computing the current total cost, we need to apply the formula which is shown below:

Total cost = Fixed cost + variable cost

where,

Fixed cost = $15,000,000

And, the variable cost = Annual production × variable cost per plant

                                     = 10,000,000 × $6

                                     = $60,000,000

Now put these values to the above formula

So, the value would equal to

= $15,000,000 + $60,000,000

= $75,000,000

Now the current cost per can of paint would be

= (Total cost) ÷ (Annual production)

= ($75,000,000) ÷ (10,000,000)

= $7.5 per can of paint
